Sean Clemons and Krystal Bottcher are starting a new Salsa Night club on Friday nights.  It will be held every Friday night from 10:00pm-2:00am.  Will also include a mini lesson from 9:30-10:00pm!!  It is a restaurant/bar, and they will continue to serve food until 2am!!!!  The venue is "Eat the Worm" and its located in the Old Market!!!  Will have all the normal dances like Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, Merengue, etc...but we will sprinkle in Cha cha, and rumba too!

Midtown Crossing at TURNER PARK (31st and Dodge St)

July 8: Latin jazz legend Poncho Sanchez will kick off “Jazz on the Green” at Mutual of Omaha’s Midtown Crossing at Turner Park.
Sanchez, weaves spirited tales with Afro-Cuban rhythms and bebop.


July 15: Lao Tizer, noted contemporary jazz keyboardist
July 22: Sugar Thieves, a high energy jazz band that mixes sultry blues
July 29: The Prairie Cats and Kansas City-based Grand Marquis.
Aug. 5: Orquesta Alto Maiz, a Latin jazz band  Afro-Caribbean music.
Aug. 12: Luigi Waites tribute.
The series was traditionally held on the grounds of the Joslyn Art Museum, but moves this year to Turner Park. All concerts are free and begin at 7 p.m. For more information visit www.omahaperformingarts.org
