Fifth annual Cowtown Jamborama - August 24-26, 2007. Live music for the weekend, starting with the Robert Bell Swing Combo  from Minneapolis for Friday night

The Hot Club of Detroit from the Motor City on Saturday night.

The Mezcal Brothers will rock and roll our Sunday night farewell party at Bushwacker‘s.

These are some of the finest bands in the country, ladies and gentlemen. It will mark the first time the Detroiters have ventured west of Chicago; Robert Bell will be here for only the second time (after his stellar Omaha debut with the Southside Aces at the Balboa Festival.) The live music alone makes this year's Jamborama.

 Pricing for the weekend will be as follows: before July 1 $109; by August 15 $129; after that $150. I cannot stress enough what a great buy this event is, even at full price!
The Jamborama ( http://www.jamborama.com )will once again be based at the Carlisle Hotel, located at 109th and M streets. The hotel is no longer affiliated with the Days Inn chain and is under new ownership so there have been lots of improvements made! Cost for a room with one queen bed will be $55 a night; for two beds, $60. The hotel will be the location for all the workshops and late night dancing. It’s a lot of fun to stay where the event is actually happening, even if you’re a local!
