The eight-week series features some of the best local and regional jazz musicians in two-hour concerts held on Joslyn's east lawn (22nd and Dodge Streets) and the grand staircase leading to the Museum's main entrance. All concerts begin at 7 pm (the lawn opens to concert-goers at 3 pm and closes at approx. 9:30 pm)

Omaha Community Playhouse August 26, 2005 - September 25, 2005 Rod and Luann Rabe are going to be in the Omaha Community Playhouse fall production Soar into the all new 2005-2006 Playhouse season with this all singing, all dancing extravaganza that brings alive the big band music of the 1930s and 40s with contemporary style. “Swing!” is two hours of pure joy. A mix of classic songs and over 30 tour de force eye popping dance numbers- some comic, some romantic, some nostalgic. “Swing!” also features spectacular vocal performances. The entire show is driven by the dynamic sound of a hot swing band. This season opener will lift you right out of your seat - guaranteed! “It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing!” |
